Avamed offers various medical tests and lab services that are easy to use and don’t cost a lot. For some tests, you can get the results on the same day, depending on the type of lab work needed. But for most tests, you’ll get the results in just a few days.
Here are some of the medical tests we offer:
Drug Test
It’s a simple test where we don’t use needles, just need a urine sample. We also provide drug testing for employers.
EKG (Electrocardiogram)
This test checks your heart’s electrical activity to see its rhythm, blood flow, or detect a heart attack.
Flu Test
Even outside of flu season, you can still get the flu. This test helps diagnose your condition and figure out the right treatment.
Hearing Test
We check how well your ears detect sounds at different pitches. The results help diagnose hearing loss and guide us to the right treatment.
In-House Labs (Blood Tests)
Quick blood tests can show a lot about your health and overall wellness.
Respirator Fit Test
This ensures the safety of respirator systems for those working with hazardous materials, meeting OSHA standards.
Spirometry (Pulmonary Function Test)
This quick test checks your lung health and helps diagnose respiratory conditions like asthma or COPD.
Strep Test
For throat infections, this test involves swabbing the throat to collect a sample. Results are usually ready in a few minutes.
Tuberculosis (TB) Test
This test is done in multiple parts over a few days, involving a small injection under the skin. Results are checked a few days later.
X-Ray
Our offices have on-site x-ray imaging to diagnose issues like broken bones, joint conditions, or other medical conditions.
