Clinical Overview
Reviewed and published by AvaMed Urgent Care & ArvhaMed Primary Care clinical team.
Walking into a medical clinic when feeling unwell can feel stressful. Understanding which diagnostic laboratory tests are available and how they work can reduce anxiety and help you take charge of your health. AvaMed Care's comprehensive in-house laboratory provides immediate answers for accurate clinical decision-making.
Rapid Point-of-Care Testing (Results in Minutes): Our CLIA-waived laboratory performs rapid multiplex testing with results available during your appointment: 1) Rapid Strep Throat Swabs (results in 5–10 minutes), 2) Rapid Influenza A & B Screening, 3) Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Detection, 4) Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) testing, 5) Dipstick & Microscopic Urinalysis for UTI detection, 6) Blood Glucose & Hemoglobin A1C checks, and 7) Rapid Mononucleosis testing.
On-Site Clinical Blood Panels: For comprehensive health evaluations, we draw and process complete blood panels including: Complete Blood Count (CBC) to detect hidden infection or anemia, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) evaluating kidney and liver function, and Lipid Panels for cardiovascular risk assessment.
Digital Radiography (Low-Dose X-Ray): When physical trauma or persistent chest symptoms are present, our on-site digital X-ray suite produces instant high-resolution images to evaluate bone fractures, joint dislocations, chest congestion, or pneumonia without third-party imaging referrals.
Single-Visit Diagnosis and Treatment: By integrating clinical examination, rapid lab results, digital imaging, and electronic prescription fulfillment in one visit, AvaMed Urgent Care and ArvhaMed Primary Care eliminate days of anxious waiting.
